Trouble Spots
Ensure that you work to a design methodology throughout the exam. Each question will assume you have the ability to identify the risks, constraints, and requirements in the given scenario. Only by understanding design process will you be able to make appropriate design choices and use VMware technology in the way the question requires.
Although a best or standard practice would normally dictate a certain configuration, ensure the end result meets the requirements presented in the question. Throughout the exam you are required not only to know the best practices, but also to know when to apply them.
The exam features a design tool. Several questions require you to create logical or physical designs. Ensure you have through understanding of how datacenter platforms (i.e. Network, & storage, multi-site implementations) and VMware components fit together. Without this knowledge it will be hard to put together a suitable design.
