Scrubs (, the Lifestyle Magazine and Website for Nurses,
Partners with Pearson to Help Nurses with NCLEX Test Preparation

October 6, 2010 (Los Angeles, CA) – Scrubs magazine (, the first lifestyle magazine and website for nurses, has partnered with Pearson to repurpose key portions of the new edition of Pearson’s NCLEX-RN Exam Prep as NCLEX preparation quizzes for the website.

The NCLEX examination is the test given to candidates for licensure as registered nurses (RNs) and licensed practical/vocational nurses (LPN or LVN) in the United States. The exams test the knowledge, skills and abilities essential to the safe and effective practice of nursing at the entry level.

“Practice NCLEX quizzes like those offered on Scrubs magazine not only bolster confidence and knowledge for nursing candidates, they also offer a fun way for seasoned nurses to test their own skills and nurse-smarts years after graduation,” says Miriam Bookey, Editorial Director for “Nurse teams are now taking the quizzes during their breaks, challenging each other to see who scores the highest, and crowing about their scores online to their friends.”

All of the Scrubs magazine NCLEX quizzes can be found at, with new quizzes added weekly. In the past 30 days alone, Scrubs visitors have quizzed themselves on the NCLEX more than 11,500 times.
