Cisco Live Virtual: The Next Best Thing to Being There (It's FREE, too)

Cisco Live will be held in Las Vegas this year from July 10-14. Those who can't attend the show (which costs up to $1895 per person, depending on access to conference and session content) can sign up for free virtual access through the Cisco Live Virtual Web site. It's a great way to gain access to a boatload of current information and training for those with time to spend online while the conference is running.

Visit the Cisco Live Virtual registration page to set up a free account that will enable online access to those portions of the show, conference, and training content that Cisco will make available while the conference is running from July 10-14. Early registrants can already gain access to some show and conference content, including the schedule and agenda, conference sessions and related training, certification related materials, and  a whole lot more.

For example, I was already able to access Walid Issa's 71-page PDF handout for his upcoming session on Cisco Data Center/Storage Certification, and there are 10 other courses with downloads already available through the Cisco Live Virtual website. As the show gets closer, more materials will become available. Then when the show goes live, you'll be able to tune into streaming video feeds from keynotes, conference tracks, and various training venues--all at no charge.

For those without the time, money, or inclination to make the pilgrimage to Sin City to attend Cisco Live! in person this year, the Cisco Live Virtual offering is a slam-dunk value proposition. I have to give Cisco bonus brownie points for giving away what a lot of conferences charge for, and for providing such broad virtual access to a lot of premium and premier content.

If you're interested in Cisco certification, products, or technologies, you'll want to register for this free virtual conference, and invest some time and energy in exploring the wealth of content it offers. This one truly is hard to beat!
