Preparation Hints
The best way to prepare for this exam is to go through the exam objectives and make sure that you understand each objective and know how to perform related tasks. There is nothing particularly difficult about most of the objectives, but some of the objectives are obscure and are unlikely to be things that you use on a regular basis.
To give you a more concrete example, one of the exam objectives is “Apply bullets to a document.” Applying bullets to a document is a very simple task, but the devil is in the details. If you read on, the objectives contain several bullet-related tasks that you are expected to know how to perform. While most of these tasks are things that you probably do every day, one potentially unfamiliar task that is listed is defining a picture to be used as a bullet. The point is that you need to read the exam objectives carefully because seemingly simple objectives often include references to obscure tasks that you might not be immediately familiar with.
