As of December 1, 2011, there's a new version of the CompTIA Network+ exam available; it's numbered N10-005. As the "005" suffix indicates to those in the know, that makes it the fifth version of this exam to hit the streets since the Network+ first made its debut waaaaay back in 1999. With this new exam out, there's a new crop of books, practice exams, and other supporting materials available.
For Pearson, veteran cerification author and expert instructor Kevin Wallace (CCIE No. 7945) takes over custody of the Network+ N10-005 Authorized Cert Guide. He's fabulous in the classroom, and his wit and skill shine through in the pages of this full-length study guide. You'll find ample and systematic coverage of the N10-005 exam throughout this book, tied explicitly to exam objectives and topics. You'll also find self-assessments at the end of each chapter, and a DVD with two full sets of practice questions included with the book.
