About the Cisco CCNP Certification Refresh

On January 25, 2010 Cisco made a significant announcement concerning their middle-tier Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) certification track. In this blog post I intend to give you the facts of this situation in the most compact manner possible.

The Skinny

In a nutshell, a CCNP candidate now is required to pass only three exams, compared to the four exams that were required of the previous version of the credential. These three exams may be passed in any order, and have the following exam codes and titles:
