Paul McSharry, VCP, VCAP, VCI, vExpert 2012, is an independent virtualisation consultant and instructor based in London, UK. He has been an IT professional for 14 years and specialises in web hosting and virtualisation technologies, working with large retail and financial enterprises.

He holds various certifications, such as the MCSE, MCITP, MCITP, VCP & VCAP, and is also a qualified IT instructor, holding the VMware Certified Instructor (VCI), CompTIA CTT+ and Microsoft MCT credentials. His recent consultancy projects include:

• Producing a hybrid cloud platform to deploy and enable secure e-discovery web based applications for data review
• Datacenter migrations using various vSphere platforms
